Your privacy matters to me. This page explains what information I collect when you visit joyfulsoulexpansion.com, join my email list or take one of my courses, and how I care for it.

Who I am

This website is run by Julie Claire (Joyful Soul Expansion), an independent spiritual teacher and energy healer based in Mexico. I am the person responsible for your information. You can reach me at awaken@joyfulsoulexpansion.com.

What I collect and why

I never see or store your full card details. Payments are handled directly by the payment provider.

I do not sell, rent or trade your information, ever.

Who helps me run the site

A few trusted services handle information on my behalf:

  • Web Hosting Canada (WHC): hosts the website (servers in Canada).
  • Brevo: sends my emails and newsletters.
  • Stripe and PayPal: process payments.
  • WooCommerce and Paid Member Subscriptions: manage orders and member accounts, on my own website.
  • Google Analytics: visit statistics, only if you accept cookies.
  • VideoPress (Automattic): plays the course and website videos.
  • Akismet and website security tools: filter spam and protect the site.

Some of these services store information outside your country. Where that happens, they use recognized safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long I keep it

  • Email list: until you unsubscribe.
  • Member accounts: as long as you have access to your courses, or until you ask me to delete your account.
  • Order records: as long as needed for accounting, usually up to 7 years.
  • Statistics: up to 14 months.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask me to:

  • see the information I hold about you;
  • correct it;
  • delete it;
  • stop using it for emails (every email has an unsubscribe link);
  • receive a copy of it.

Just write to me at awaken@joyfulsoulexpansion.com and I will answer within 30 days. If you live in the UK or the European Union and feel I have not handled your information well, you also have the right to contact your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This site uses:

  • Essential cookies: keep you logged in to your member area, remember your cart and protect the site. These are always on.
  • Statistics cookies (Google Analytics): help me see which pages are visited. These are only used if you click Accept, and you can change your choice anytime through the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of every page.

Children

My website and programs are meant for adults. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If I update this policy, the new version will appear on this page with its date.
